For one of the world's largest financial institutions, we designed, installed and configured two Global Trading Systems for Equities Convertible Bonds and Equities Derivatives using Sybase Replication Server in peer-to-peer mode. These two systems have now been successfully implemented, providing the only truly global trading Systems using three-tier architecture. The established data centres are in London, Tokyo, Hong Kong and New York. Although challenging to put in place these systems have brought a number of major benefits to the client. These are:

     Developed a GUI front end for Application support to display the volume of replicated data, the status of Stables queues, the health of individual replication servers and their corresponding data servers and general status of replication system for non technical staff.
